Saturday 10th of June, 2017 at the City of Port Harcourt, FastTrack Consultancy in partnership with Initiatives for sustainable peace and entrepreneurship development (ISPED), along side other partners, held the Niger Delta CEOs summit at the prestigious Presidential hotel. First of its kind in the South south. The summit addressed the fundamental issues affecting the decline in entrepreneurial activities in the region, ways for stake holders to start embracing it as a matter of urgency, and to jump start enterprises without waiting for government intervention.
Keynote speakers like Tonye Cole (Sahara Group), Senator Rufus Inatimi Spiff, Chief Africas Lawal (Peace Builder and Serial Entrepreneur), Moses Siasia (Mosilo groups), Ebele Enunwa (Sundry foods – Kilimanjaro and Market Square), Amb. Boladei Igali gave insights at the summit. Panelists where made up of Zigha Ayebakuro (Zal), Annkio Briggs, Daniel Wilson (Wilson Foods), and Hilda Dokubo who took on the questions and answers segment.
The implementing partners, ISPED, unveiled a project in line with the initiative’s vision ” Project Raise 500 entrepreneurs in Niger Delta” on behalf of fast track consultancy. This project will cut across the Agricultural Sector, Vocational and ICT sector,and targeted at Youths of different cadre.
Fast Track Consultancy Lead by Mr Sorgwe Ernest is a multi disciplinary management consultancy firm with proven expertise in Leadership, Skill Management, Creativity and Strategic Innovation, and also the initiator of the Niger Delta CEOs summit.
The summit which hosted over 418 aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs, amongst which was the CEO of Efikomedia Asieri Odusi, and all from the Niger Delta was indeed one that will change the region’s narrative. ISPED as an organization has laserjet projects on her sleeves targeted at producing more entrepreneurs from the region and the nation in general. ISPED hence solicits the support of other private stake holders, nationals and multinationals, NGOs, foundations and philanthropic individuals.
